Steve Greenberg, co-host of “Lying on the Beach,” has walked 24,000 steps each of the four days of CES. He wants to make sure he doesn’t miss any innovative products that he may want to introduce to TV audiences around the United States.
Lois Whitman-Hess, his podcast partner, has been attending CES since it first started 53 years ago. She spends her days in meetings discussing innovative marketing strategies with clients. In this episode, Steve and Lois are going to give you their take on what to expect at CES 2020.

Neil Plakcy is a professor at Broward College and the author of more than 30 published novels. He has also edited and contributed to many anthologies.
For the past 20+ years, Neil has been able to publish about four books a year, from a gay detective series to the very popular series of mysteries about a golden retriever.
His most recent series of books are Deadly Labors, a police procedural mystery set in Honolulu, and the latest in his golden retriever mystery series called Dog’s Green Earth.

This is one of the most exciting weeks for art lovers in the United States. Artists, collectors, gallerists, writers, photographers, and so on, are all flocking to Miami for Art Basel, the most extensive art fair in the country with over 200 of the world’s leading international modern and contemporary art galleries displaying the works of over 4,000 artists. In addition to Art Basel, there are countless satellite exhibits all over Miami where you can find young artists to museum-caliber masterpieces.

Kathryn Mikesell is the co-founder of Fountainhead Residency, an artistic home away from home in Miami where artists get the opportunity to create and connect with other artistic talent from around the world. Fountainhead has hosted over 390 artists from more than 45 countries. After 12 years of existence, Fountainhead is thrilled that over 100 of its alumni are now exhibiting in Miami Art Week.
Ron Abel is a multi-award winning composer, producer, arranger, orchestrator, conductor and musical director. His client list ranges from multi-million selling pop diva Taylor Dayne to opera diva and Kennedy Center Honoree, Jessye Norman. He also had a recurring role on the Fran Drescher television series “Happily Divorced” playing, who else, but himself.
Ron is currently composing the scores for several new Broadway musicals: ROCKWELL, LIFE ON A PALETTE, a musical tour of the 20th century through the paintings of America’s most beloved artist, (book & lyrics by Eleanor Albano & Anthony Barnao) as well as BRICKTOP, QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, RE-INTRODUCING LAURETTE BISHOP and UNDRESSED with his long-time writing partner, the celebrated lyricist, Chuck Steffan.
A major sweep of every Los Angeles theatre award was won by Ron for his score of TWIST OF FATE, a musical written with Kleban award winning bookwriter/lyricist Lissa Levin.
Recently, Ron, Chuck & Lissa’s collaboration of their new musical HAZEL, A MUSICAL MAID IN AMERICA premiered at Chicago’s Drury Lane Theatre.
Ron has arranged, orchestrated and conducted world-wide for artists such as Liza Minnelli, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Mandy Gonzales, Lucie Arnaz, Michele Lee, Bryce Pinkham and Shirley Jones among many others.

Pomerantz is living the life so many of us dream of. At the age of 50, this New
Yorker decided to give herself a gift that would change her life forever. She
joined a travel network called “Remote Year” that allows you to connect with
other professionals who together work and live like locals from four to 12
months in exciting cities around the world.
Loren
was at least 20 years older than most but that didn’t stop her blending into
the group who were made up of people who live in different parts of the world
and have jobs that allow them to work remotely in the digital age. Loren is a
successful public relations agent who represents companies in a variety of
fields.
Most
of us can’t imagine what it would be like to experience the life Loren led two
years ago. She is with us today to tell us all about it and how she has
maintained this lifestyle on her own since the Remote Year ended. We are

a visual artist. Four of his large
scale mixed-media portraits (Pulitzer Prize recipients Stanley
Kunitz, Jhumpa Lahiri, Alan Dugan, & U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky) are
included in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Portrait
Gallery. His work is exhibited in museums, galleries and private collections
all over the world.
